Muga Rioja Rosé ($15.99): This blend of Garnacha, Viura and Tempranillo is different from most rosé. It is a blend of white and red grapes and unlike almost all rosés, it sees a bit of oak. The nose shows notes of peaches and apricots as well as raspberry and cherry. The palate is full and bright with a balance of strawberry and stone fruit. The finish is mineral, crisp and long.
Badia y Coltibuono Chianti Cetamura ($12.99): James Suckling 90 points
This easy drinking Chianti displays notes of sour cherries and plums. It is medium bodied with a bright and fresh finish. Perfect for a summer BBQ, your favorite pizza, or pasta marinara.
Michel Magnien Morey-Saint-Denis ‘Tres Girard’ ($39.95): The nose shows violets and earth with hints of red fruits and black cherries. The palate is medium-bodied with red berries and leather and a hint of wild game. The finish is elegant and austere with well rounded tannins.
