The Glenkinchie distillery was founded in 1837, and today is one of a handful of remaining Lowland producers. Their 12 year old malt is lightly aromatic, with notes of fresh flowers, lemon, barley, grass and smoke. The palate is crisp but ever so slightly sweet, with flavors of fresh fruits, cut herbs, spicy peat, and a touch of beautifully balanced oak.
