Manga del Brujo was the first wine Norrel Robertson (a Master of Wine) ever made at his El Escocés Volante estate in Aragón. Manga del Brujo Calatayud is a classic Châteauneuf blend of hand-harvested Garnacha (70%) and Syrah (15%) – its Spanish accent comes from splashes of local Tempranillo (10%) and Mazuelo (5%). Look for waves of dark berry and black cherry aromas, plus inviting rosemary and thyme notes. The palate is velvety smooth, with more ripe dark fruits. Hints of black pepper and licorice round out the long, smooth finish.
