Unopened Spirits
Unopened spirits that are free from defects are not eligible for return or exchange. We cannot accept returns for bottles with damaged labels or packaging.
Opened and Defective Spirits
Spirits found to be defective may be exchanged for a bottle of equal or greater value. If you choose an item of greater value, you will be responsible for the price difference and any applicable taxes. Store credit is not offered.
All returns are subject to staff inspection to confirm the defect and must be accompanied by a store receipt within 7 days of purchase.
WINE AND SAKE
Unopened Wine and Sake
Proper storage is essential to maintaining the quality of wine and sake. Since we cannot verify how these items are stored after leaving our store, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for unopened wine or sake. Bottles with damaged labels or packaging are not eligible for return.
Opened and Defective Wine and Sake
If you believe a wine or sake is defective, we’re happy to exchange it for a bottle of equal or greater value, provided the return is initiated within 5 days of receipt. You’ll be responsible for any price difference and applicable taxes. We do not offer store credit or refunds.
Note: Wine over 10 years old and special-order items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
All returned items will be evaluated by our staff to confirm any defects. All returns must be accompanied by a store receipt within 7 days of purchase.
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM
In-Store Purchases or Local Deliveries
Return your item to Oak and Barrel within 7 days of purchase along with the original store receipt. All returns are subject to staff evaluation
Shipped Orders
Please contact us first to confirm if your item(s) are eligible for return shipping. If approved:
Repackage the item in its original packaging.

Defective bottles must include the original contents and cork for verification.
If your return is approved for a non-defective item, you are responsible for all shipping costs (both outbound and return) and for ensuring that items are securely packaged and arrive in original condition. Unopened returns may be subject to a 15–35% restocking fee.
All returns are subject to evaluation before any exchange or reimbursement is issued.
