This project by German Star Johannes Selbach shows all of the true character of the Saar region. You’ll find the intesive aromas of apple and peach, while the off-dry palate shows a perfect balance of sweetness and ripe acidity. The finish is long and notes of slate and green apple linger while your mouth waters for more.
Ramsay Cellars North Coast Petite Sirah ($15.99): This Petite Sirah is deep and rich showing aromas of blueberries and plums. The palate displays plenty of bright fruit, with hints of black pepper and baking spice. The finish is generous with well integrated complex tannins.
