CALIFORNIA, PROVENCE AND DOWN UNDER

Matua Sauvignon Blanc  ($13.99): This Marlborough, Sauvignon Blanc has floral tropical fruit aromas.  The palate is light and fresh with notes of grapefruit, mango and grass.  The finish is crisp, refreshing and dry.  Perfect summer wine to enjoy with or without food.

Acacia Carneros Chardonnay ($19.99): From a cooler region that straddles both Napa and Sonoma, this chardonnay is balanced with aromas of stone and orchard fruits, supported by bright acidity and a soft touch of oaky creaminess.

Château Minuty Côtes de Provence Rosé ($19.99): Château Minuty is a benchmark for Provence rosé.  It is a typical Provence blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah.  The nose shows plenty of strawberries and raspberries mingling with citrus aromas.  The palate is bright and fresh with red fruit, pink grapefruit, and blood orange leading into long mineral finish.

Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz ($14.99): Rich and ripe from the enticing nose through the round, fat palate, replete with a smorgasbord of fresh wild berry, stewed fruit, baking spice and confectionary leading to an intense and relatively structured finish that makes this wine a crowd pleaser to be sure.
