Wölffer Estate Vineyard, on the South Fork of Long Island, is unquestionably a beautiful place. The creation of it spanned over three decades and required a creative vision, an ability to bring dreams to reality and a great deal of dedicated hard work by many people. The founder, Christian Wölffer possessed the vision and, with the meticulous care of his professional team, built this special place into one of the most pre-eminent and recognizable wineries in New York State.

Taking a sip from a bottle one of these wines it is easy to imagine a beautiful evening at the winery, relaxing and luxuriating. Join the lovely Karolina as she takes us on a tour of some of their most iconic wines this Saturday from 5-8.

Wolffer Estate Rose Cider ($4.99): Good things come in little packages and this pint-sized bottle of cider is no exception. Perfect for the park, a picnic or any occasion that calls for deliciousness without fuss.

Wolffer Estate Merlot ($19.99): Full-bodied with loads of dried fruit characters and layers of velvet tannins. The finish is long with hints of tobacco, leather, minerals and toasted oak. A very traditionally handcrafted, complex red wine.

Wolffer Summer in a Bottle White ($25.99): The color of sunshine, this wine gives juicy aromas of summer fruit ripe peach, apricot and cantaloupe along with honeysuckle and freshly cut hay. The mouth-feel is beautifully balanced.

Wolffer Estate ‘Perle’ Chardonnay ($29.99) This is a classic Chardonnay of the highest caliber. Created in the rich-yet-restrained traditional style of a White Burgundy, it has tremendous aging potential and pairs wonderfully with rich and diverse foods.

Wolffer Estate Cabernet Franc ($20.99) Dark red brick in color. The nose is filled with wonderful aromas of red cherries, a hint of cassis, fine leather and well integrated toasted oak notes. The mouth-feel is elegant and medium bodied with nice texture and good, healthy concentration of red fruit flavors.
