Clotilde Davenne Saint Bris Sauvignon Blanc ($18.99): A unique wine from the only region in Burgundy allowed to grow Sauvignon Blanc, the St. Bris tastes like a cross of Sancerre, Chablis, and Burgundy all in one. With great mineral intensity, and round citrus notes in the palate, this makes a wonderful aperitif, and pairs easily with shellfish and light seafood.
La Bastide Cotes du Rhone Rouge Figue ($13.99): Year in and year out this wine is a fantastic value. It offers a perfectly balanced mix of succulent raspberry and plum fruit offset by a dark, earthy streak. Its bright and zippy acidity and mild tannins provide for a dry, juicy finish.

Domaine de la Terre Rouge Syrah Les Cotes de l’Ouest ($22.99) This California syrah is spicy and meaty in aroma, generously layered with flavors of black plums, blackberries and incredibly velvety tannins. The way that the core of delicious fruit is shrouded in thick but soft tannins and threaded with acidity is a marvel.
