Cote Mas Rose Aurore ($11.99): Made from a traditional blend of cinsault, syrah and grenache, this rose is crowd-pleaser and an incredible value as a 1 liter larger format. Notes of strawberries and cherries are balanced by a juicy palate and bright acidity.
Trimbach Riesling ($17.99): Since 1626 with 12 generations of experience, Trimbach has become synonymous with great dry, Alsatian riesling. With aromas of ginger, baking spices, white flowers, and stone and tropical fruits, this benchmark white is multidimensional and pairs easily with a variety of fishes and light poultry.
Planeta Cerasuolo di Vittoria ($18.99): A blend of nero d’Avola and frappato, Cerasuolo di Vittoria and its surrounding vineyards may be the most exciting region in Italy. The aromas are full of strawberries, red cherries, and the palate and finish are light and refreshing. A great red wine for the summer.
Paul Mas Coteaux de Languedoc Clos des Mures ($19.99): Inky and opaque with a heady profusion of aromas including plum, violet and boysenberry. Structured and generous on a palate painted in broad strokes of ripe dark fruit chased with garrigues and a hint of sandalwood. A lingering finish of supple tannins completes this tour de force.
