Vietti Roero Arneis ($24.99): Pale straw yellow color with fresh floral, citrus and melon aromas with hints of almond. An unoaked, dry, medium bodied white wine with crisp acidity, the Arneis is well-balanced, elegant wine with good complexity and a lingering finish.
Domaine Chanzy Mercurey Les Caraby ($26.99): Deep ruby in color. Dominated by aromas of red fruits (raspberries, cherries, currants) with some rather spice and earthy notes. The palate is complex and there is good richness and volume to the delicious and rounded middle weight flavors.
Chateau Musar Jeune ($24.99): From legendary winemaker Serge Hochar, with continuous production even during periods of turmoil and civil war, Musar Jeune is a blend of cinsault, syrah, and cabernet sauvignon, that shows the rugged terroir of Bekka Valley, with aromas of red fruits, grilled herbs, and an earthiness that will astound you.
Jim The Barry Cover Drive Cabernet ($20.99): Lots of dark fruit on the palate – black cherry and plum compote with hints of black olive and mouthwatering acidity – big but very well balanced.
