Le Grand Noir GSM ($12.99): This classic Roussillion blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mouvedre has bright cherries and plums on the nose. The palate is medium bodied with red fruit and earth in perfect balance. It is very easy drinking and pairs well with a variety of foods, but is perfectly enjoyable on its own.
Domaine Costa Lazaridi Drama Amethystos Red ($21.99): Amethystos Red is bright and dense, purple red. Well structured bouquet, combining aromas of red forest fruit, cherry jam and spices on a discreet oak background. Warm and full at first, it then unrolls its richness, structure and its noble tannins. The long finish sees the return of the aromas of fruit and spices.
Glen Morey Sherry Cask Single Malt Scotch ($29.99): This edition of Glen Moray has been finished for eight months in sherry casks. This has added subtle notes of dark chocolate, orange and dried fruit to the distillery’s classic light-bodied spirit.
