Col di Corte Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi Anno Uno ($16.99): This organic wine is made from the first grapes picked from the estate’s younger vines in order provide freshness and immediate drinkability. This medium bodies wine shows crisp acidity and minerality and exhibits apricot, peach, almond and floral notes.

Pierpaolo Pecorari Rosalba Rosato ($17.99): Pierpaolo RosAlba Rose is a beautiful dry rosé made from Refosco and Pinot Noir from the northeast of Italy. Aromas and flavors of red cherry, ruby red grapefruit, and cranberry; hints of violet, lavender, and pink peppercorn. Fantastic paired with green salads, sashimi, shellfish, goat cheese, olive oil-based pastas, rice dishes, sautéed calamari, and charcuterie.

Gulfi Nerojbleo Nero dAvola ($21.99): Perfumed and juicy, offering sweet candied blueberry pie, sweet spices and faded flowers on the nose and in the mouth. Very smooth texture and clean, ripe flavors have pretty floral lift and vibrancy. A knockout NeroJbleo, one of the best in years, in fact.

Livia Fontana Barolo ($39.99): Intriguing aromas of underbrush, mature dark-skinned fruit, dark culinary spice, new leather and balsamic notes slowly unfold in the glass. The chewy full-bodied palate delivers fleshy Morello cherry, crushed raspberry, licorice and tobacco. Velvety tannins provide firm polished support.
