Muga Rioja Blanco ($18.99): A blend of mostly viura and a small amount of malvasia, this fresh white is barrel-fermented for a short time, giving it light oak nuances as a backdrop to aromas of stone and orchard fruits, and white flowers. A great alternative for those looking for sauvignon blanc or chardonnay.
Cune Rioja Crianza ($13.99): Bright cherry color with some violet nuances. In the nose, red berries aromas remain over the oaky and balsamic notes from its ageing in wood. It shows an elegance in the mouth, yet very lively, with some spice back notes and a very balanced acidity.
La Rioja Alta Rioja Reserva Vina Ardanza ($36.99): Outstanding, medium-high depth, dark-cherry red with an intense pinkish rim. Very intense to the nose, with outstanding spicy aromas of black pepper, cloves, cinnamon and vanilla enveloping fine notes of red berries. In the mouth, we enjoy a pleasant structure, balanced acidity and delicate, enveloping tannins.
Beronia Rioja Gran Reserva ($29.99): Beronia Gran Reserva is a deep maroon colour. On the nose it displays many different aromas, from fruit such as strawberry and blackberry to cocoa and black liquorice, with notes of cedar reminiscent of the wood in its natural environment and notes of menthol that add tremendous freshness. It delivers distinct notes of fruit and nuts on the palate, which provide structure and tannin. The wine is long, very complex, balanced and also sophisticated.
