Sho Chiku Bai Junmai ($7.99): This sake is smooth, full bodied and dry. It shows notes of honey and a pleasing nuttiness. It comes in at a +3 on the dryness scale. The only US made Sake to ever win a gold medal at the US National Sake Appraisal, this sake is best served warm or room temperature.
Sho Chiku Bai Shirakabegura Kimoto Junmai ($21.95): This Kimoto Junmai falls close to middle of the dryness scale at +2. It reveals gentle aromas of bananas and melon. The palate merges these aromas with flavors of rice and earth complimenting it’s smooth texture.
