The palate show notes of white peach and an extremely pleasant note of yeast, that is reminicent of very high end champagne. Complexity abound this can hold it’s own against Champagne at much higher price points.

M Chapoutier Bila-Haut Cotes du Roussillon Villages Red ($15.99): A blend of syrah, grenache, and carignan from a master in the Rhone Valley, this full-bodied red offers all the notes of black pepper and raspberry, as well as additional richness from carignan. A great introduction to the wines of Roussillon.
Aalto Ribera del Duero ($49.99): Opaque ruby. Assertive aromas of blackberry, bitter cherry, spicecake and floral pastilles. Sweet and expansive on entry, then tighter in the middle, with an alluringly perfumed quality to the dark berry, cherry-cola and vanilla flavors. Finishes sappy and long, with fine-grained tannins adding shape and grip.
