Creta Ribera Del Duero 2012 ($15.99):
This 100% Tempranillo is opaque purple in color and offers up a bouquet of candied fruit, espresso, creamy spices, incense, and assorted black fruits. It is structured on the palate with layers of concentrated fruit and sweet tannins.
Valduero Crianza Ribera Del Duero 2010 ($32.99):
Medium-bodied, soft and lush with a lovely mix of cherry fruit, chocolate, mint, spice and mild tannins, this is an elegant, lifted version of Ribera del Duero.
Balnea Verdejo Rueda ($13.99):
A smooth, friendly style of Verdejo with green fruit aromas and flavors highlighted by apple and melon. Toss in some lime, peach, minerality, nice acidity and a smooth finish and the wine is about as good as can be for the price.
