Wines of the Jackson Family

Despite the “A-B-C, 1-2-3” reference from Friday’s tasting, we aren’t talking about that Jackson Family. Instead, for Saturday’s tasting, we are highlighting the wines of the legendary California Producers who are carrying on the ethos and hard work of wine-making giant Jess Jackson.

Hartford Court Chardonnay ($28.99):
A generous palate of ripe fruit notes, with candied lemon drop balanced by the nice acidity and mineral characters comprise an inherent complexity to this elegant wine.
Hartford Court Pinot Noir ($29.99): 
Foresty, woodsy aromas intermingled with raspberry, blueberry and black cherry fruit jump from the glass of this wine, which is medium to full-bodied and shows terrific purity, texture and length.
Stonestreet Cabernet Sauvignon ($39.99):
conveys vivid aromas and flavors of black cherry, satsuma plum and blood orange with bay leaf, fresh tobacco and cocoa nib adding further dimension. Generous, beautifully extracted texture, kept in balance by the freshness of the fruit and an indelible stony signature
Matanzas Sauvignon Blanc ($17.99):
Aromas of grapefruit, white nectarine, dried lemon thyme, apples and a hint of lemon zest. A crisp, bright textural mouthfeel. The addition of Sémillon gives a smooth texture, with a nice lingering finish.
