This Ramato from Channing Daughters is a special skin-fermented white wine, or what many are now calling “orange” wines. All the Pinot Grigio fruit for the Channing Daughters Ramato was hand-picked, fermented on its skins and raised in French and Slovenian oak for eighteen months. There are aromas and flavors of honey, brown spices, dried apricots, pear skin, tropical citrus, baked apples, coriander and peaches.

Fantastic NY state orange wine. Dry, tangy, dried grass, hay, super earthy and funky. Very sherry fino like.
