Cream of Kentucky 11.5 Years Old Bourbon is the first release from J.W. Rutledge Distillery, founded by former Four Roses master distiller Jim Rutledge. This bourbon is a blend of 60 different barrels rumored to be from Barton. On the nose you will find maraschino cherries, cola, vanilla, peanuts, citrus and a hint of confectionery goods. The palate shows lots of tannins, more Maraschino cherries, cola and vanilla. The finish is medium in length with more tannins that bring about a slightly dry, pipe tobacco, floral finish.
