Burghound – 92 Points (2017)
An overtly spicy nose speaks of essence of pear and apple along with acacia blossom, lavender and Asian-style tea. The sleeker and more refined medium-bodied flavors exhibit lovely minerality that, like the Narvaux, really comes up on the precise, indeed even chiseled, dry and linear finish. This isn’t as dense as the Charmes but it’s finer still plus offers a bit more overall depth.
