Bookers Ronnies Batch is the first release of the Booker’s Bourbon 2022 Collection is Booker’s Batch 2022-01. According to the company “this batch is named in honor of Ronnie Land, a longtime employee at the Jim Beam plants when Booker Noe was master distiller. As the warehouse manager, Ronnie was responsible for inventory of the aging barrels and knew exactly where Booker preferred to store his namesake barrels. Under Ronnie’s watchful eye, Booker knew he was working with barrels that met his standards.”
Bookers Ronnies Batch 2022-01 is a largely straightforward affair, with a focus on cinnamon spice that’s highlighted by caramel and oak. It’s rich and flavorful, packing a punch but not as hot as Booker’s is capable of.
