This offering from Japanese distiller Nikka, has floral and dark aromas of nut shells with a hint of smoke.  The palate is rich and full with the fruitiness of an American whiskey showcasing vanilla and a touch of baking spice.  The 100 % malt here adds a complexity to the sweetness, making this a very well balanced whiskey.
