The Paolo Bea Montefalco Rosso Riserva Pipparello focuses on Umbrian Sangiovese grown at 400 meters of altitude on soils of gravel and clay. This is decidedly a wild and earthy expression of this noble grape, blended with 25% Montepulciano, and 15% Sagrantino, into a wine of deep aromatic elegance with a pleasing farm-fresh  vegetal sense of umami and a refreshing hint of salinity.
